In this session, the speaker will explain how his team moved a very large database using the Oracle 12c cross-platform RMAN incremental backup and transportable tablespace method to a new server of different flavor with minimal downtime and without using Golden Gate. The explanation will describe in detail all the steps and with the associated scripts everyone can readily use.
